Esther Kazinda commonly known as Eseza Omuto is a Ugandan media personality with over two decades of experience on both radio and television. She possess a natural quality of dynamism and is passionately followed and loved by the young children.[1]

Background.

Esther was born to Elinest Kazinda (RIP) and Aida Kazinda in Mawookota, Mpigi district in She completed her primary school at Kitebi Primary School and later enrolled at St. Josephs Nsambya Girls Senior School for her secondary education.[2]

Career.

In , She started her journey at Radio Uganda currently known as the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation as a specialist in children issues. It was during her time at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation that she was spotted for a children's program due to her great communication and interpersonal skills as identified by her superiors. Its from then that Esther has since dominated the radio and television airwaves on both Uganda Broadcasting Corporation and Wavah Broadcasting Services television on her Childrens' program and Emiiti Emito respectively which is very popular with children[3].

She hosts another childrens program on Star FM on Saturdays where she hosts children for discussions on issues that affect them[4]

Family.

In June , the Children's heroine, Esther Kazinda at 65 years introduced her long time love to her parents in Mpigi district[5] and[6] later held a big wedding ceremony with over sixty bridesmaids and pageboys,[7] to Engineer Lusse William Kigozi at Kireka Hill Adventist Church and later a reception at Hormisdallen school, Gayaza.

Personal Interests.

Esther's love for children has turned her a household name with children. Children from as far as Mukono and Iganga, Gulu, Mbarara and other areas call in and others come looking for her requesting her to pay them a visit. She is passionate about children's rights and dreams of having a home for them,[8] travelling abroad and seeing how children fair in other countries.

Awards.

She has been presented the Vocational Award /4 in recognition and appreciation for her services to the community in the field of Radio and Television Broad casting by the Rotary Club of Kampala, Ssese Islands[9].
